This week I read 23 pages. I understood 70-75%.

Dear Fern!
I'm very happy because this is a first letter I have sent to you. I hope you will not get mad at my sentences because I know that my writting is bad and I'm trying to improve it right now.
I'm writing this letter because I have been thinking about you. I though you were busy with your school , so you would not have time to go the barn to play with animals there. Actually, I discovered you that you alway keep silence at the time when the animals were discussing about something and you knew everything that was happening. I wondered : why and how you could hear or undestand that. Then I knew that your father said:" may be our ear aren't as sharp as Fern's", but that's not clear enough to explain how, and I think because you 're kid with kind heart , so they trusted you like never do that the animals were not scared. I was interested in silence of you. Why did not you tell something during time? Certainly, silence is gold , and I also do it too. Anyway I like you because you love animals.
